Hi
I’ve changed my mind about a few things since dealing with a temporary kitchen for a couple of months.
For example, a small thing. I thought an air fryer was a waste of space when we had easy access to an oven.
But now, I will not be giving that thing up for all the tea in China when we get back to our new kitchen.
And we found out the InstantPot (which was just taking up space in the cupboard in the old kitchen) makes perfect hard-boiled eggs that are easy to shell (a job I hated) Who knew? Plus it turns out creamy risotto like a dream without endless stirring. 🤣
Thinking about it, there are probably assumptions I’m making about other things where I’m most likely wrong as well.
Tools I’m not using for my business for one reason or another that I think I don’t need.
Things that I think are “too expensive” that would actually be a good investment.
Maybe it’s the same for you. It seems like it’s worth trying some of the things we tend to dismiss just to see how valuable they could be.
If you get the chance, try something that you’ve assumed is not for you this week, for example working in a new environment, using a new tool, or reading an email you would normally ignore, and see if you were wrong about them. 💖
