If you have business training, apps, or tools that are more than a year or two old on your hard drive, it may be time to prune them to make way for items you can actually use with confidence.
I know you probably spent good money on those things. Trust me, I feel your pain. I’m right there with you.
But the problem is that everything changes fast online.
Interfaces change. Strategies change. Platform rules change.
That’s why it’s best to invest in training or tools you need now (rather than something you may need in the future.)
If you’re buying in advance to get a good deal on something you’re pretty sure you’ll need, check that whatever you’re buying will be kept up to date by the creator.
Don’t beat yourself up about past buying decisions that seemed right at the time. But learn from them. This is what I’m telling myself.
And if you have a bunch of old things on your To Do list you haven’t implemented yet, it might be time to prune them and lighten your load. We all have enough to do without trying to deal with outdated information and tech. 💖
