So I have this view of the MedĀ from my temp office / hotel room balconyĀ right now. Couldnāt help wanting to share it.
Some people think writing newsletters is work but itās a fun part of my day. Even on holiday.
Except when I donāt have a subject to write about.
Itās rare but it happens. š¤£
But today Iām not stuck.
The subject that came to mind for me today is money and how itās such a myth that it canāt buy you happiness.
I’m very happily lying on a sun lounger right now.Ā š
Of course, it canāt stop the tragedies in your life from happening.
We all get those in our lives, like loved ones and pets passing, illness and natural disasters, even wars in some parts of the world, not to mention relationship woes.
But whatever happens, itās better to go through the awfulness with extra money in your pocket.
It smooths the way.
It gives you one less thing to worry about.
It gives you a means to flee a bad situation.
And in the good times it buys all the fun stuff, the treats, the wonderful meals, and yes the trips for hubby’s birthday to France with a gorgeous view of the Med.
Those who dismiss the difference money can make must have never been in the position of having more month than money.
I have been there, grew up that way, and it drives me to never be in that precarious situation again.
But I don’t mean that you should go after money at the expense of enjoying your life.
Find something you love to do and make your business all about that.
Enjoy your time working on your business and secure your financial future all in one go!
Make plans and take action to secure your financial situation without taking all the joy out of your life.
What is it you love to do that you could build a business around? Think about that before another day goes by. š
