Goals are weird.
You can want them all you like.
You can work hard on them and achieve them.
Then celebrate them like crazy.
But they can also leave you strangely unsatisfied.
For instance, if you go from couch potato to running a 5k race, you can be all pleased with yourself, but if you never run again, you’re left wondering if it was really worth it. (Ask me how I know LOL)
Running 5k (must be 5 years ago now) felt good. Never running again not so much. It didn’t change my life for the better.
I guess, I got clear that I running was not for me (or at least not for my knees and ankles.) 🤣
So be careful when you set your business goals.
Make sure you’re intent on enjoying the process and what it’s going to do for your growth as a person.
Also, ask yourself what you will do when you get there.
It’s easy to think “I’ll make 5 or 6-figures and I’ll be in clover because I’ll have all that money to spend.”
But it’s not actually like that.
You’ll have financial and customer commitments.
And you’ll need to keep earning to keep spending. 😱
So think about the kind of business you really want to run on an ongoing basis, not just an income goal you want to reach, and work on that. 💖
