I’ve been working with a group who want to publish their first planners and journals to sell on Amazon.

And it has been eye opening to see the kind of challenges they face.

Things that you take for granted (or simply don’t worry about) when you’re on book 189  (as I am) can be real progress blockers when you haven’t published before.

But the important thing is not to let the bumps in the road stop you.

Push through not knowing, ask the questions (Google is your friend if you don’t have a mastermind group!) and get the answers.

Get through the barrier of not knowing how and press on with publishing your book, building your website, or writing an email and setting up your autoresponder.

But doing the things everyone else is doing in business (the things that you can take a training course on or look up on Google) will only take you so far.

Because success is not about doing what everyone else is doing. The competition is very crowded there.

It’s about doing that and then putting your own spin on it.

Innovating even in a small way.

And there are no instructions to follow for that.  No one to ask. You just have to decide to do a new thing and work out how to do it.

So to succeed, take the training courses and get help on the basics if you need that.

But also practice going one step further in 2022 without the instructions. Just do it anyway. 😊
