Look anything up online and, before we know it, we’re down a hundred rabbit holes with open tabs proliferating like…er…rabbits.

Log onto social media to post something related to business and we’re lost chasing squirrels for an hour.

The problem is that every little discovery or spark of interest gives us a shot of dopamine.

Social media is purposefully designed like that.

I don’t know about you, but I could do without getting dopey on dopamine when I’m running my business. 🤣

The only thing I’ve found to work against all the time disappearing is setting a kitchen timer before I start.

It’s not fool-proof but at least the buzzer going off gives me a jolt to say I haven’t done the task I went in there for!
