Hi

Whatever you’re tempted to do in business (or life) don’t do it until you’ve argued for the opposite action.

So let’s say, you decide to do a course, what are the reasons that you should NOT do it ?

Maybe you already have a lot on your plate?

Maybe it would distract you from your focus?

Maybe you’re not sure what’s in the course and how it would apply to your situation?

Once you have the reasons why not, decide if your reasons for taking the action you want to take outweigh the negative points and then decide whether to go ahead or not.

So often in the past, I’ve jumped into something on a whim and it hasn’t been the right course of action at all.

I saw the opposite point of view too late (and didn’t even consider it).

Nowadays, I try not to jump in too soon by deliberately attempting to argue myself out of doing things.

Putting myself in different shoes  (metaphorically speaking.)

And I make fewer mistakes than I used to (though I still make plenty for other reasons!) 🤣
