Every few weeks I get a message like this in my inbox and my heart misses a beat.

Is my life about to change?

And my friends’ and family’s lives because no point having good fortune by yourself, right?

Then I find out I won a fiver (like I did yesterday) or £2.63 like last month. LOL

Nevertheless, I feel lucky, and to be honest, I’m a little bit relieved because I don’t really want to change anything that drastically.

I love what I do. I love writing and creating. I love interacting with customers and fellow business owners. I even like the stress of a deadline just a little too much.

But would I do it, if I didn’t need to earn a living?

Sitting here without the fortune, I think I would, but would I really? Or would I vegetate in front of Netflix?

It’s probably better not to put that to the test.

I Forgot about Labor Day

Being in Scotland, I forget about all the holidays in the US.
