Hi
I love the freedom of working for myself.
I’m not sure I’d be able to work for anyone else now, though I was a “good” employee in my day toeing the company line (and hating it!)
But with great freedom comes great responsibility as they say.
And the need to actually do stuff to get paid because there’s no one giving you money at the end of the month anymore.
So if you’re still working a job and longing for independence this Independence Day, think about what you really want to do day in day out that will also eventually pay for the roof over your head, the groceries, and the kids shoes.
And if you’ve already escaped the 9 to 5 but you’re not quite earning what you need, prioritise activities that pay every single day. Do them first before you do anything else. And do them for the majority of the working hours you have to earn your financial independence.
Then you really will be free!
