One of my new habits this year is to declutter one small area of my house every day.
Yesterday, I had our overgrown mug collection in my sights.
I didn’t even know we had so many – 46 – though there are only two of us living here now.
And I haven’t counted the cup and saucer collection!
Naturally, the two chipped mugs were the first I wanted to get rid of.
And the ones that hubby wanted to keep – his favorite mugs apparently 😟
So we’re keeping them because life’s too short to argue over trivialities.
But it made me think of business and the cracked, chipped processes and habits we cling onto to because they’re comfortable and familiar and still serve a purpose.
When shiny new tools or habits might serve us and our audience much better.
