Is there a perfect email you could write or a perfect moment to send one?

Maybe there is.

But I haven’t reached those dizzy heights yet. 🤣

If you’re sitting on an email list of any size but you’re not sending email to them every single week, why is that?

Maybe you only have your Aunty Beryl and your goldfish on your list, and think you’ll start once you have a few “real people.”

But that would be a mistake.

Only having a handful of people on your list is the perfect time to get used to writing and mailing.

You will find it a lot harder to press “send” when you have thousands of people reading your words.

Another worry I’ve heard is that you might lose a chunk of your list if you don’t write a brilliant email.

But a few people will unsubscribe no matter what you write, brilliant or not.

And that’s okay. We can’t please all of the people all of the time.

The unsubscribe button is there for when the content or style of a newsletter is not a good match.

You just have to get over that, keep in touch with your current list, and keep adding to it as you build your online business.

Do the best job you can when you write your email and then hit send.

And if the “best job you can” starts you down the perfectionist route, try giving yourself a two or three hour time limit to write your email so you don’t spend days worrying about every word.
