I’ve heard this said often enough, but I think I need to hear it again so I’m writing it as a reminder to myself as much as to you. 💖

Do the money tasks first.

If you don’t do the tasks that lead to a sale at the start of your day, the chances are that those tasks will get squeezed out until tomorrow / sometime never.

And by money tasks, I don’t mean actual selling, unless your business is at that stage.

I mean anything that brings a sale closer.

It might be creating the product or the sales page, it might be creating ads or setting up a funnel.

But it won’t be logging your undone training courses, listening to a summit, or making a small dent in your unread email mountain as I did yesterday.

I was writing my newsletter late last night (UK time) (again!) and thinking that I should really know better than that.

There was no way I wasn’t going to get it done, it being day 97 of challenging myself to write daily.

But I should still have done it earlier in the day and not given myself the stress of a late night task.

It’s one of the most important parts my business, so important that I wouldn’t have a business without it.

So why was I leaving it until the last minute and taking a chance on some kind of emergency getting in the way?

And though I wrote my newsletter, other money tasks didn’t get done yesterday.

So I’m writing this part of my newsletter today at 7:30 am.

I won’t send it out until later as I like to look through the day’s offers and choose the best before I do, but at least the writing part will be done 😊 (and now I’m finishing it off at 8:30pm instead of 10:30 pm. That’s progress LOL I’ll take it!)
