Do you have a plan for that?
I’ve just started to realize what a terrible habit I have of buying interesting stuff without having a real plan of putting it into use.
That’s a little bit crazy in business.
Maybe dissuading you from buying stuff is a little bit crazy, too.
Because without sales none of us have a business.
But I don’t want anyone to get carried away and get in over their head when they already have a ton of assets lying unused on their hard drive.
A business is also not very viable if customers regret the purchases they made!
So, if I recommend something I’m going to add at least a few suggestions about how you could use it in your business.
And if you decide to hit the purchase button, please add your new asset to a list along with notes about what you plan to do with it.
Don’t look at the shiny and think ooooooo bargain. Click!
Don’t be me in other words. LOL
So in that spirit, here are today’s hand-picked offers and why they may be for you (or not!)
Creativity Journal – Launch ends tomorrow
I love this beautiful Creative Inspiration journal from Gabby and bought it for myself mainly because I’ll enjoy using it.
But I’ll also schedule some time to add my own ideas and graphics to this so I can sell it to those who want to be more creative.
Gabby’s package includes
- 21 days with journal prompts to get your creativity flowing
- 1 Cover Design in Canva, PowerPoint (PPTX) – Sizes include 8.5×11, 8×10, 6×9, A4 in color and grayscale
- 26 interior pages in Canva and PowerPoint
- 1 checklist template page
- 1 month of creative expressive art prompts for Social Media
- 6 Watercolor Graphics for the Journal in PNG in 300 DPI
- PLR / Commercial Use Rights
This is for you:
- if you have a creativity blog or plan to create one – a few pages would make a great optin, then you could add an upsell to the full product
- if you plan to make a creativity course. It would make a great bonus.
- if you want to use it yourself
- if you have an Etsy shop for journals/planners or you plan to make one.
Pin yourself down to one or two ideas and think about when you’ll be ready to use this in your business. If you don’t sell to those who love to be creative, and you’re more left than right-brained, then it’s probably not the offer for you.
But if it will work for your business, grab it now as the coupon code will only be valid until tomorrow.
COUPON: creative (gives you $10 off making this beautiful package just $17)
Pretty Printables without Photoshop
Photoshop is a brilliant graphics program. Once you master it, you can make all kinds of beautiful graphics. Unfortunately, it has a very steep learning curve.
But there are much simpler solutions.
If you struggle with “the Photoshop beast,” you can still create beautiful graphics, planners, and journals without Photoshop or a degree in graphic design.
I’ve often talked about Canva as an alternative to Photoshop. You can master that much more quickly – in as little as a few hours (not weeks, months, or even years that you’ll need for Photoshop) and for that I recommend Confidently Canva. You might have seen that fantastic training here a couple of days ago.
Another alternative to Photoshop is good old Powerpoint.
(In fact, Gabby’s journal above is available in both Canva and Powerpoint so you can easily change it.)
Chances are you’re already somewhat familiar with Powerpoint as it has 500 million users around the world. Thirty million PowerPoint presentations are created every day.
If you want to improve your Powerpoint skills to make pretty printables, then take a look at Faith’s training “How To Create Pretty Printables.”
Faith really “gets” pretty and she’ll show you exactly how to make those gorgeous printables that sell so well.
With no more than Powerpoint.
By the end of the course, you’ll have everything you need to succeed in creating unique printables to sell and you’ll have such fun learning!
I love Faith’s clear training style and the way she always goes the extra mile to help her students. I’ve taken several courses with her and never regretted a purchase yet!
Plus, to sweeten things even more, you can save $30 at the moment when you use COUPON PRETTYLAUNCH
MY BONUS if you purchase Faith’s course through my link by midnight EDT Sunday 4th: A step by step checklist for creating a printable to sell (on you own store or Etsy) This will include everything you need to think about and get together to sell your printables like hot cakes. 😍 I’ll have this loaded into the bonus area on Faith’s site by midnight Monday so there’s no need to send your receipt to claim your bonus.
Michelle’s Unicorn Dreamsicle Planner
This is so cute! I love Michelle’s new Unicorn Dreamsicle Planner with 28 unique US Letter pages and 6 different covers.
It includes a printable that you can use as a divider or wall art!
If you have an audience who loves all things girly, buy this to sell, but give it a miss for the business crowd.
I can still hear you going, but Jan, unicorns!
At just $17 for so much prettiness with launch discount COUPON: UNICORN10 I wouldn’t blame you for giving in to this one. As long as you’ll use it yourself LOL
SURPRISE BONUS: Buy the Unicorn Planner through my link, send your receipt to [email protected] and I’ll send you 5 coordinating digital papers that you can use for any of your projects. (You can also claim this surprise bonus if you already bought through my link so that early birds don’t miss out.)
Here’s to a good weekend, Happy Easter (if you celebrate it – with chocolate or otherwise lol), stay safe, and I’ll catch you soon with more tips, freebies, and some offers (but only the ones I personally think are great value and know the quality to be good.)
