I don’t know about you but I do a lot of doubling up especially when it comes to training, for example, listening to YouTube while I get ready in the morning, or a podcast while I wash up.
So much so, it feels strange just to sit in the sun without a book or do chores in silence.
But for some reason I never listen to anything while I’m walking my dog. Probably because, at first, he was so mischievous I had to keep my wits about me. 🤣 And then I got used to those thinking hours every day.
They say the best ideas don’t show up when you’re busy. They sneak in when your mind has room to breathe and when you stop filling every gap with noise.
And I think that’s true.
