I love writing stories and working out what’s going to happen to the characters, how they’re going to change because of the events I send their way, and how it will all work out right in the end (which it always does in the books I write. 🤣)
But we are all storytellers when it comes to our own lives.
And the stories we tell ourselves affect how well we do more than anything.
The thing is, you can decide how you want to portray yourself when you think about your life.
Are you a victim of your circumstances or an action hero, finding your way out of any kind of trouble?
It’s no secret that the action hero mentality will do you more good than playing the character downtrodden by life.
Yet so many love to play the victim!
I guess, staying stuck seems easier (at least in the moment) than pushing to find a path forward.
If you haven’t been acting like an action hero in your own life lately, don’t worry. You can switch the story at any moment to start a new chapter, where you can be the character you want to be (and the one you need to be to succeed!)
