Focus on getting better instead.
Better at providing the service you offer.
Better at creating products that people want.
Better at marketing, sales, and follow up.
So if you’re setting goals, avoid the “make six figures by April” type because you have no say over whether people will buy your stuff and it’s an indirect yardstick at best.
Set goals for your own performance. That’s something you can control, monitor, and succeed in whatever happens. You can make progress on that every day. And you can use that growth in whatever you pursue in the future. 💖
