It’s easy to take fright when you see the amount of competition online.

Whatever you want to sell, you can be sure that there will be a whole swarm of similar products.

Especially on sites like Etsy or Amazon where your product shows up with a bunch of related items.

And low competition still means competing with hundreds of products.

Yet people sell in those markets every day.

And some of them make a great living while other make peanuts.

How do the successful sellers do it?

Do they compete on price?

Mostly not – that’s simply a race to the bottom.

The successful ones compete on a combination of quality and volume.

They make awesome products and they keep on making different products in low competition niches until they find the “special kind of awesome” that people buy in droves because it stands out against the competition (in a good way!).

There’s always room for awesome in any niche.

And in any market.
