If you’re thinking about adding a new income stream to your business or you’re in a dilemma, wondering which business model to follow for your new venture, consider your sweet spot.

Running the Simple Happiness PLR shop is right in my sweet spot but it’s not my first rodeo. I’ve been all around the ranch (and some.)

Not all businesses I’ve run have been right for me. Here are just some examples from my online journey 😱

Diet coaching — I made money, but at that point (sigh!) I could eat anything I liked and had no problems with my weight so I had no clue how difficult it was to lose it! Looking back, I pretty much failed the “what you do well” sweet spot.

Blogging and monetizing sites using Adsense ads and Amazon affiliate links — Those blogs earned well but I grew to hate writing endless articles about kitchen curtains, patio cushions, and fifty topics like them. We’ll call that a failure in the “what you want to do” department.

Selling on eBay — Another good moneymaker I started on eBay after I met a couple of guys, friends of friends,  who were making seven figures selling party costumes on the platform. I liked going to Trade Fairs and even Costco picking out products to sell, but I didn’t like standing in line at the post office. Plus my house filled up with merchandise like electric toothbrushes and novelty door mats. Not for me. LOL

Fiction and non-fiction writing —This IS a sweet spot and I still earn royalties from my books but my muse dried up during the lockdown so I haven’t written a new self-published book for a while. I’m going to revive this one as a part-time gig eventually.

Finally, I came across the PLR Low Content Niche last year and ended up finding the sweetest spot of all—Running a PLR Journals and Planners Shop. I must confess, I’m a bit of a planner and design  junkie!
