I often say you only need three things to have a successful business— a product to sell, people who want to buy it, and a place to sell it.

If one of those elements is missing (or not doing so well) then you don’t have a viable business (yet!)

It’s like a two-legged stool.

TOO LITTLE TRAFFIC?

If you have a good product or service in a popular niche, and it’s available to buy, but you’ve had very few sales, then you’re probably having problems attracting enough potential buyers into your world.

You need targeted traffic to turn into subscribers and buyers.

And without that, you really don’t have a business.

But there are many ways to cure the traffic problem.

• You can pay for it with ads.
• You can knock your socks off creating a ton of content for the search engines.
• You can do social media and hope they find you there without wasting your whole day posting stuff that doesn’t bring buyers.

I’ve been thinking a lot about this lately.

Because even if you have traffic and sales, more is even better, right?

At first, I thought I’d use Pinterest, and I have an account there, but the Pinterest waters seem choppy, to say the least, so I’m leaving that alone for now.

I decided to go with Instagram, where I have an account, but nothing on it. A clean sheet!

After a bit of research, Katya showed up with her video (see below), and I can really see how her no-time-wasted 30 days of content in one hour system would work for any kind of product or service business so I’ve decided to go all in with that approach. Take a look and see what you think. Just to warn you, there’s a bit of selling at the end which shows the extreme value of her templates. And I happily purchased the whole enchilada because it will make Instagram so much easier. I was glad to get in before the price jumps up in a day or so.

I wish I’d had Cindy’s processes and checklists long ago as they would have saved me so much time reinventing the wheel. But I’ve bought these now because I know we still have gaps and there are a whole load of different checklists here that apply to every online business including mine and yours.
