And there are some emails I always open.
I recognize the names of their senders in my inbox.
They provide value.
And more often than not I buy their products.
Other senders go on about what they’ve done, where they’ve been, how wonderful their family and life are, and what they’ve bought as if they are staging a mini-Instagram channel.
I’m a little bit interested for a few seconds, but then they are instantly forgettable.
Unless they also provide value.
Their content did nothing for me; it was all about them.
