I was walking Alfie in the Hermitage of Braid this morning. That’s a beautiful wooded area with a stream a few minutes walk from my house.
The weather was gorgeous too. Gentle sunshine around 20C (68F).
And it struck me how much easier it is to walk two hours a day when the environment helps you with easy access to a beautiful place, great weather, and a dog who absolutely insists on his two walks a day no matter what. 🤣
It’s the same with work.
Things become much easier when you have the right setup around you including good tools, useful training, and fewer distractions.
An environment that supports what you’re trying to do instead of constantly fighting against it.
Success is a lot easier if you don’t have to force it and just create conditions that make good habits easier to follow. 💖
