Hi
I’m back doing a whole load of decluttering, mainly clearing out cabinets of paperwork from my office/den.
And I’m trying to be ruthless because I’d love to get rid of some of the cabinets that are taking up precious floorspace and I know the ones I have are full of “useful” papers and notes I haven’t looked at in years.
But it’s difficult! My mind immediately goes to “What if this happens? This paper or that report might be handy.”
Yet, I know it would be good to get rid of everything that I don’t have a current or known future use for.
There’s so much space and clarity to gain from that, and I’ll lose that heavy feeling I get whenever I’m trying to stuff something I really need into the too full cabinets.
I guess it’s the same with life too.
It doesn’t help you enjoy your life if you just stuff more and more activities and obligations into the precious time you have available.
The good stuff gets lost in the crush.
