Who knew this little chap getting born this time last year would have such a big impact on our family?
It’s not unknown for him to take a little chunk out of the furniture and walls, and the garden is full of craters. We’ve had to put up baby gates in several doorways to limit his destructive chewing, and pull up shrubs to stop him poisoning himself. The insurance and vets bills have been a shocker. Finally, hubby ended up with a broken ankle out walking him last week and now he’s wearing a moonboot (handy to negotiate the garden craters) for 6 weeks!
But despite all that we love this little fur baby to bits. He is having steak for his birthday dinner while we have stir fry chicken & veggies. LOL
