I’m still thinking about the guy I was talking about yesterday who was expelled from school twice for non attendance and how much wisdom he had to impart (as well as how far he’s come.)
Maybe I should have done a lot less schooling and had a bit more real world experience early on! 🤣
French and German (only useful on holiday) or even Information Processing (so much theory and not enough real world application.) have had no effect on my life except I met hubby on the IP course so there’s that. 💕
But when you think about it, college education is no different from studying email marketing or copywriting or Photoshop.
It’s only by applying these things in the real world that you get any benefit (other than keeping your brain cells firing on all cylinders!)
With that in mind and with May turning into June, I’m creating a summer of education and application program just for myself today.
There’s so much I want to learn and implement.

STARTING ON INSTAGRAM
I’ve built my business without using social media so far and I really don’t want to spend all my time going down that route because it feels like you’re building a business on shifting sand.
However, we are all doing that to a certain extent.
Nothing stays the same for a year online.
And even if it feels like nothing stays the same for 5 minutes, never mind a year, on Pinterest, Facebook, and Instagram, you can still get a lot of traffic from there.
As we all know, traffic is the lifeblood of any online business.

Either it will start showing signs of being worth it or I will move on to the next experiment.
Meanwhile it has been fun so far working with my VA on what to put on there to make a very pretty and useful feed.
