“Success in any area usually comes down to doing relatively boring tasks for long enough until they compound into big results.”

I guess it’s that consistency thing.

Of course, there are some parts of your business that you’ll never be bored by.

For example, those of us who work with graphics will probably always have fun experimenting with them.

But every time we make a product, there are those tasks that come with putting it up for sale that most of us find less than exciting.

And you have to promote your product too if you want to make sales.

Over and over.

Consistently.

So if you’re not seeing results, think about whether you’re doing enough of the “relatively boring” stuff.  💖

NEW! CHECK YOUR CONTENT 

In some places, it’s perfectly acceptable to use good AI generated content that you have checked for language and facts. (I have definitely been fed wrong answers on topics that I know well so if you don’t know your topic, make sure you check.)

In others, the jury is still out.

No one knows if Google or Amazon KDP will eventually penalize sites and products that use too much of it.

My view is that they won’t worry too much as long as the content is as good as a human could write.

But is it?

Content from the likes of Chat GPT seems well written on the surface but it does sound a bit repetitive and robotic at times, so you should always add something of your own if you can. Chat GPT plus your personality and unique point of view could be a winning combination.

If you want to check whether Google can detect that you used an AI engine, you can use a very-low-cost tool called Originality AI.

This one can detect all kinds of AI generated content, but it seems especially good at detecting Chat GPT.

And it also checks for plagiarism, which is handy if you outsource your content or you fear that the AI engines are just taking text from other places. (That’s not how they are supposed to work so that shouldn’t happen, but it’s better to be safe than sorry!)  This tool is cheaper than the usual tool of choice Copyscape.

If you want to see some results of checks, take a look at this article. Jasper AI seems to come out best in the tests because they have built on top of the tools that others use and don’t use them exactly as they are.

Worth the extra $49 a month to use Jasper?

It may be, but who really knows at this point?

But once Chat GPT becomes a paid service, Jasper may very well become the best option (apart from your human brain, that is. 🥰)
