Now that December has arrived are you looking back and wondering where the year went?

I certainly am.

While I achieved a lot, I meant to do so much that didn’t get done.

I meant to restart yoga.

And lose all the pounds I gained during lockdown not just a few of them.

I meant to organize my house.

And my hard drive.

I could say I didn’t have time, I was building my business, yada yada yada but that wouldn’t be strictly true, because I haven’t been chained to my desk.

I just let the hours and days run away with me, and tomorrow always seemed like a better time to start.

One solution, I was reminded about today was to follow a “no zero days” policy.

This means, no matter how busy you are, or how unmotivated you feel, you make yourself do the smallest amount of work on your project, even if it’s just five minutes.

Every single day.

I used this trick a few years ago an an author and at that time I called it a “no zero words day” habit.

And it was funny how writing a few words always turned into a few paragraphs and often a whole chapter.

So once I work out my goals for 2022, I’m going to try this again.

Someone please remind me about this when I’m ready to get started.

That will be tomorrow then. 🤣
