Hi

I was on a zoom call today, going on about spending too much time working because I go to my desk when I wake up and don’t finish until late at night.

And I usually work weekends, too.

But then I was asked “What are you doing with all that time?”

When I tried to explain about my various activities, it led to more questions like, “How much time does x take you to do? What is involved in that? How much time do you spend on revenue generating activities?”

As I thought about it, a light bulb went off.

It’s so long since I did a time audit that some very bad habits have crept into my working days.

I spend far too little time generating revenue and far too much time faffing. (A technical term for not getting much done of consequence.)

So now I’m on a mission to reduce the huge swathes of time I spend not bringing home the bacon so that there’s more free time to enjoy the bacon that actually gets here. 🤣
