Some days (like me today) you just run out of energy for one reason or another.
Your brain just decides it’s done and throws in the towel.
On those days, don’t get all judgy with yourself.
Energy isn’t a fixed asset. It fluctuates. And trying to squeeze great stuff out of an empty tank rarely works.
Instead of trying to use willpower to force productivity, ask yourself what would count as “enough” for today.
Maybe it’s five minutes tidying up or writing yourself a note for tomorrow.
For me, it’s this newsletter with just a few new things. (I try not to miss a day)
Once you’ve done your “enough”, stop.
If today is low energy, let it be low energy.
Consistency doesn’t mean intensity every day. It means returning to your work over and over whenever you’re able.
And tomorrow is a new day. 💖
