Sometimes new strategies or business models sound like a good idea but you’re just not sure.
Maybe you’ll waste your time,
Maybe you won’t.
The thing is, you’ll never know unless you try.
But just be careful about the kind of trying you do.
To find out whether something will work, you have to try for real and not just make a half-baked attempt and then declare it a waste of time or a scam.
Before you even think about starting on a new path, assess how much time, effort, and/or money it took a few others to get where you want to be.
And then decide whether you’re prepared to put that much of your available resources into it.
If it took 500 Etsy designs for sellers you know of to make significant sales, don’t just make 50 and call it a failure.
If it took bestselling authors ten years to learn to write, don’t expect to create a bestseller in ten days or weeks (whatever the sales pages promise!)
If you aren’t prepared to match the effort, save yourself aggravation, and don’t even begin!
And if you ARE prepared, start now because the sooner you get going, the sooner you’ll reach your goal. 💖
