You’d never put a cake in the oven and expect to take it out and eat it without giving it time to bake, but we do that all of the time with our businesses.
We want instant success, and sometimes we are looking for the perfect outcome with key ingredients missing!
If something you did didn’t work in the way you expected or wanted it to, give yourself time to get over your disappointment and then ask
▶️ What ingredient was I missing? (for example, not enough eyeballs on your sales page? Or the wrong message for your audience?)
▶️ Was my attempt half-baked? (for example, did I give my ad long enough to gain traction? Did I go all in with my attempts to make this work?)
In any case, no one ever became a master baker with their first cake, so don’t be too hard on yourself.
If you keep improving your ingredients and your process and get plenty of practice, you’ll get there! 💖
