Business goals are great, but they do set you up to being a tad disappointed if you don’t meet them.
2022 has been a tough year for many.
There was an expectation that coming out of the pandemic, things would get back to phenomenal growth.
They haven’t.
Quite the opposite.
My year wasn’t how I envisaged it exactly, but it was still a very good year.
So, I’m not complaining.
But my ever-present mantra did come in handy on an almost weekly basis.
It’s one I borrowed from a book by Susan Jeffers. (I think it was her “Feel the Fear and Do It Anyway” title) and the quote is:
“Whatever happens, I’ll handle it.”
It works so well when things are not going according to plan.
And it lets you go forward in times of doubt and uncertainty.
Perfect for the current climate.
