I read this quote today (on Facebook, I think 😁) “Progress requires unlearning” and I found myself wondering if that’s really true.
But I guess moving forward sometimes means letting go of things that no longer work, like old habits or assumptions.
You might be doing something a certain way just because you always have.
Or avoiding something because you decided, at some point, that it wasn’t for you.
Those things can limit what you achieve.
And no amount of new knowledge will help if it’s sitting on top of something that needs to be cleared first.
So maybe unlearning really is important.
And being willing to question beliefs and behavior that may no longer be serving you to make space for something better.
