Hi
Pricing low is a tricky thing.
Sometimes it means you’re selling yourself too low.
And it’s bad because people will think you’re no good (or slightly off like cheap perfume) or you will be resentful of the people who bought but didn’t pay enough for your time and effort.
Sometimes, a low price is the perfect introduction to you and your products. Almost but not quite a freebie so there’s some commitment there from the buyer but not too much.
And sometimes, it’s a strategy. Do you sell more (and importantly make more profit overall) by selling at $7, $47, or $97?
That’s something you may have to test.
The worst reason to price low is because you don’t think anyone will buy your product unless it costs next to nothing.
If there’s no value in it, if it won’t save the buyer time, effort or money, if it won’t delight them, sell something else! Generally people don’t buy at any price (and they don’t even bother to download a freebie) unless they see WIIFT (what’s in it for them.) 💖
Bonus AI Idea: Give ChatGPT details about your product and ask it why you might sell the product for <low price> or <for a slightly higher price.> Then ask how you could make it a no-brainer purchase for <your dream price.> 🤔
