Hi

I have a busy household with hubby, son, and dog so I have a lot to do in the morning.

But there are two things I always do for my business, no matter how busy I am, where I’m going, or what I’m feeling.

And that’s before I get into creation mode, which we talked about recently. (“Be a creator, not a consumer!”)

My two things are:

ONE: I check emails from customers and deal with any urgent questions, bonuses etc

TWO: I look at cashflow (what I spent yesterday and what money came into my accounts) and calculate a running total for how things are going.

I know a lot of people outsource the first task, but I like the human connection and it doesn’t eat up a huge chunk of my day, so I’ll keep doing this myself. 😊

The second task is new to me since the beginning of last month.

Before that, money just flowed in or out without me paying much attention to it.

It did a lot of flowing out!

But now I’m keeping an eye on things, I’m not spending quite so much.

And I’m doing more work which gets reflected in the “flowing in” part.

I don’t know if I got more serious because I’m checking finances or I’m checking finances because I got more serious.

Either way, it seems to be working, so I’ll take it! 🤣

Show Off Your Book or Journal & Sell It

It’s no good hiding your finished work in a corner of your website once you’re done.

Before you can sell your product, potential buyers have to notice it, otherwise you’ll get…crickets.
