Because it’s pretty much guaranteed that tech is NOT the major cause of our distracted state.
For most people that comes from our brains not wanting to deal with uncomfortable feelings.
Things that we seek to escape like anxiety, fear, or sheer boredom.
And if we don’t turn to tech, we can easily find other distractions- a sudden need to raid the fridge or take care of those little chores that could wait.
So if you find yourself getting distracted, recognize what’s really going on, and accept that you’re not a robot. Your human brain has human feelings (and thank goodness for that!)
Then decide just to push on with your important task whatever it is you’re feeling. 💖
