Hi

No one has bottomless pockets, but if you’re not making a good profit in your business, Black Friday is an especially dangerous time.

Last year, I went a little bit crazy, so I’m trying to keep a cap on it this year, even though I can afford to spend.

If you’re just starting out, you’re probably at the stage where you need to get all the basic processes and strategies nailed down – product creation, sales processes, and promotion.

Remember what you need when you’re buying, whether it’s a Black Friday sale or just a normal purchase.

Think about whether the offer is plugging an essential gap in your learning or whether it’s adding to the range of products you plan to sell.

If it’s doing neither of those things, step right on by.

You see it’s all too tempting to go after a secret here, a “golden” strategy there, or a new business model.

But without the basics, it’s likely the secrets will mean nothing, and the new business model will be just one more distraction.

By the time you get on top of the basics, the secrets will be out of the bag and generally available, and you’ll decide the business model is not for you.

In other words, especially if you’re on a limited budget, buy for now, not for the future.

I have “secrets” somewhere on my hard drive going back to 2005 I’ve never had a chance to implement for platforms that don’t exist anymore.

Just sayin’ 🤣

Once your business is up and running, you’ll be much more aware of the type of golden nuggets you might benefit from, and you’ll be ready to USE more of those tempting purchases.

Don’t be me and wish you had all that money back that you wasted.
