If you’re thinking about what happened in the past (yesterday, last week, or even last century) or you’re dreaming (or worrying) about the future, you’re not going to get the most out of the present.

I’m not saying you should never review what happened (if you learn from it) and it makes sense to plan ahead.

But if you’re spending more than a tiny slice of your time doing either of those things, you’re overthinking and very likely under-doing. 🤣

The thing is, you can only focus on one direction at a time – past, present or future.

Focusing on the present and what you’re doing now is the only way to change anything.

It’s only in the present that you take action.

It’s only in the present that you take the actions that build a business.

It’s only in the present that you take the actions that make money.
