There’s always so much to do when you’re creating a business so I’m going to look at a few ways to reduce your workload this week. 💖
Starting with today’s theme: focus.
Except there’s an elephant in the room with that.
Security.
We keep being told that we need to diversify and not have all our eggs in one basket.
And that’s true. Diversity (at least to some degree) makes sound business sense.
But that presupposes that you already have a basket full of freshly-laid eggs.
If you don’t, and you’re trying to fill up several baskets at the same time, you’re going to drop a whole lot of eggs, and those baskets are going to stay empty far longer than necessary.
When you’re filling the first basket, focus all your effort on one thing.
One product, one promotional method, one business model.
Focus is key to doing a whole lot less and being that much more effective and successful than you would be if you were trying to create five income streams or five products at once.
You can ignore a lot of overwhelming information that doesn’t apply.
You can skip superfluous training courses and save your money.
You can use your available budget purely on things that will help you succeed.
You can take action after action focused on one thing and get fast results.
And then once you have your basket filled and creating profit, add another thing! 💖

I AVOIDED DOING THIS FOR 10 YEARS
You may have heard me talk about my experience on KDP over the past 10 years mainly as an author of fiction and non-fiction books.
But I’ve always avoided doing ads. They scared the heck out of me, and they seemed so complicated.
Also, I did fine without them, making almost $200k over the ten years I’ve been publishing.
Selling low content books on Amazon is a different kettle of fish though and ads really help kickstart sales in that niche, so now that I’m following my own $3k a month plan (one of my bonus reports see below) I thought I had better get unscared. 🤣
