One thing I’m doing this year (well, I’ve managed 4 days so far! LOL) is reading a business book for an hour every day, thirty minutes in the morning and thirty minutes at night.

It’s giving me a lot of food for thought.

Whether it gives me food for the table is another matter 🤣

Today, I was reading about a guy who has spent 40 years studying how people learn.

He says most of us are capable of becoming highly skilled (extraordinary, in fact!) in anything we choose.

Less than 1% are born with an inbuilt talent for something that means they find it easy to excel (but they still need to do the work.)

And about 1% have an impairment that means they won’t be able to do the thing.

The rest of us are capable of reaching great heights by learning and practice. Physical limitations aside.

So if you want to become extraordinary at anything you can do it. Painting. Sewing. Guitar. Singing.

Singing was where I started to doubt the theory, but I digress. LOL

Maybe not singing or Olympic swimming, but you could definitely learn to be extraordinary at any skill you need to run a business online.

So now I’m thinking about the long list of things I want to stop being average or worse at. I guess, it’s one of those “do one thing at a time” things.
